Adjustable Music Stand

This stand has been described by one musician as "real California" and by another as "baroque". Take your pick. It consists of delicate interlaced laminations for strength and weighs a mere 1-3/4 pounds. The height is adjustable for children or adults, standing or sitting.

Stand II

Stand II
is also adjustable, with a T-shaped base. Unless specified, it adjusts from 30” to 45” at shelf level.

Stand III,
like II adjusts to similar heights. The music holder is a bit fancier. $1,675

Stand IV
is one of my favorite designs. A single line traces from the shelf, to the top, to the floor, and to the end of the base. Also adjusts from 30” to 45” at shelf level, unless otherwise specified.

Stand V
is a rigid, fixed stand, graceful and light. Let me know your preferred height to the music shelf.

Stand VI.
This one also involves a fair amount of bentwork. Unlike the previous stands, this one does not have a shaft in a hollow post, rather a dovetailed spine that slides up and down in a groove. Adjusts about 12” up and down.

Stand VII
Similar to Stand VI, but without the difficult to make inward bending parabolic base. Instead this stand has three legs. Adjusts about 12" by means of the dovetail spine in groove. Like stand VI, it has an ebony violin peg to lock the height adjustment.
